INSTRUCTIONS TO AUTHORS
Instructions for Presentation in Oral Sessions
Presentation time of Oral Sessions: 20 (twenty) minutes each presentation.
1) When arriving at the venue in São Paulo,
all persons presenting papers must confirm the presentation of their papers at the
SECRETARY. Needing any type of support for the presentation, please contact the
Secretary, which is dedicated to exclusively assist the authors and co-authors presenting papers.
2) Presentations are held in English.
3) 20 minutes are allowed to each presentation: 15 (fifteen) minutes for the presentation and 5 (five) minutes for questions.
4) At each room there will be a PC with PowerPoint and a multi-media projector (Datashow).
5) To install the presentation in the PC and check the presentation, the author should contact the "
Media Desk" room at least 12 hours in advance of his/her presentation. All presentations must be previously installed in the central computer of "
Media Desk", which team will take care of the distribution to the respective presentation rooms/sessions.
6) The person presenting the work must be registered for the event.
7) In case of impediment of the first author, the work can
only be presented by one of the co-authors.
8) Until
March 31st, a brief resume (5-6 lines) must be sent by e-mail to
jurse2013@dpi.inpe.br.
Instructions for Poster Presentations
Time for poster presentation: 40 (fourty) minutes
Place: Auditorium Pará & Bahia
1) When arriving at the venue in São Paulo,
all persons presenting posters must confirm the presentation of the poster at the
SECRETARY. In case you need any type of support for the presentation, please contact the
Secretary, which is dedicated to exclusively assist the authors and co-authors presenting papers.
2) The poster size must be approximately 1.20 m x 0.90 m.
3) It is the responsibility of the author to fix the poster at the appropriate place. The poster must be fixed with a double-face tape, which will be provided by the poster sessions organizing team.
4) All posters must be posted at 10:00 am on the day of presentation.
5) The author of the poster
must stay close to his/her poster during the 40 (fourty) minutes allocated to the poster session, as stated in the program.
6) The poster can be removed after 6:30pm. If the author does not take away his/her poster, this will be done by the Technical Secretary, and it will be disposed as recycling material.
7) It is required that the author of the poster be registered for the event.
8) When the first author is unable to come for presentation, the work
can be presented only by one of the co-authors.
