WIBEMA 2015 (Workshop about Improving Biomass Estimation Methods for the Amazon) will be the first conference in a series focussing on remote sensing applications for assessing biomass at Amazon Ecosystems, specially based on LiDAR sensors. The workshop will bring together scientists and practitioners from around the world to share their experience and improve our understanding of biomass estimation. It also aims to strengthen and develop new linkages between researchers and institutions.
